RB & Tiger Shark

With big fish the viewer needs a sense of perspective, and I think a sense of scale is certainly shown in this picture.

For the trip I attached bicycle mirrors to my strobe arms to keep an eye behind me, it's the shark you don't see that may cause you problems.

Additionally you can see that I have a compact housing attached to the cold shoe on my housing.

Thanks to Arthur Kingdon who fabricated an excellent mount for the housing permitting me to do video on the trip as well.

Admittedly most of the footage (if you'll permit me to use an old film term) will give you motion sickness. I would turn on the video and spend most of the time looking around for the best stills, while keeping an eye on sharks in the area, not really concentrating on the video. It's a great idea though which I will try again in the future.

I found these animals to be curious if not cautious, as Arthur Kingdon said, 'they appear to be like spaniels with their noses on the ground following a scent' and I'm sure that's exactly what they were doing.
