Snakelock Anenome

Snakelock Anenome(Anemonia viridis)

After three consecutive weekends of not seeing any numbers of cuttlefish and the easterly winds conpsiring to make the visibility next to impossible to shoot in, I was determined to come away with at least one picture for my efforts.

I found the odd anenome with very bright saturated colouring around the base of the animal, and managed to capture this abstract view.

It would be interesting to know just how much damage has been in Babbacombe due to over fishing of Cuttlefish at Babbacombe. I certainly hope it's not the case, maybe they have just moved on. They certainly don't seem to be around in any numbers these days. Please email me if you have seen any in numbers.
