I used to be able to make these type of shots more easily with film. To do this properly in camera you probably need a .09 ND neutral density filter, you need to allow for up to four stops difference in exposure from the sky, and to try and maintain shadow detail in the foreground. This image was post processed using three bracketed images, processed using HDR Pro There's always a slightly synthetic feels to these shots. I have mixed feelings on the result, but must admit enjoyed the process of creating the image.
