Diving in Iceland

Silfra - Some the world's best visibility underwater.

Spent 10 days diving the south west corner of Iceland, in and around Rejkavik. Salt and freshwater sites were on offer. Both environments have something unqique to offer. Here's a shot of our guide Einar Hansen who worked very hard to help us get some decent images at a freshwater site called Silfra. Anecdotal reports that the fissure is part of the actual split in the contintental plates was dismissed as myth by our other guide Gisli Arnar Gudmundsson. We enjoyed some of the clearest water found anywhere here. Dive the North!
